Carnation has a spicy, floral scent with pepper, clove and cinnamon nuance. This classical scent is always an unforgettable part of eastern fragrances.
Its scientific name translates to “flower of love” or “flower of the gods”, depending on the source, this flower is one that has been revered for centuries. One of the world’s oldest cultivated flowers, the carnation is appreciated for its ruffled appearance, clove-like scent, and extended blooming period.
The carnation’s history dates back to ancient Greek and Roman times, when it was used in art and decor. Christians believe that the first carnation bloomed on earth when Mary wept for Jesus as he carried his cross.
As a fourth-generation perfumer, I left the industry to spend my time with family and friends. It is my joy and desire to create new versions of traditional scents using fresh flowers that are steam-extracted at the peak of freshness to capture the pure essence of such remarkable creations. With so many cheap imitations around, I knew there would be a market for pure, natural scents with none of the artificial additives that mass-produced fragrances use. As a result, I have created scents that wear longer than most without causing irritation to you or others. I try to be very allergy and asthmatic sensitive in my formulations so more people can enjoy the fragrances. Each fragrance can be ordered in Normal, Extra, or Light concentration.
All fragrances are mixed to order. With natural essential oil perfume, the essence oils take about two weeks to fully open up in the carrier, making it a wonderful journey to see what the final fragrance will be. Some of my favorite memories of perfuming was working with my grandmother to mix different fragrances and checking them each day to see what new notes I could detect.
